Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be launching its first Civi-series phone in India next month. The phone will mark the entry of the Civi series in India, which so far, has only been a China-exclusive range. However, while the phone will likely be launching in India with the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart, there are a few differences.
From its positioning in Xiaomi’s lineup to everything you need to know about the device itself, here’s a quick look at the Xiaomi 14 Civi and what to expect from it.
Xiaomi 14 Civi: What to expect?
The Xiaomi 14 Civi is actually a rebranded Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, a phone that launched in China back in March this year. While the Civi series is an already established, popular series by Xiaomi in China, the lineup will be new to India. Maybe this is why the brand is launching the phone as a part of the Xiaomi 14 series by calling it the Xiaomi 14 Civi.

The Civi name is being marketed as a abbreviation for ‘Cinematic Vision’, which is highlighted by a Leica-branded camera setup on the phone. Xiaomi has announced that the phone will launch on June 12 this year, and most of the key specifications have been revealed on the Xiaomi website.
These include dual 32MP front cameras – one main and one ultrawide, something we also saw with the very first OnePlus Nord phone. The phone will also come with 1.5K curved AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. We will also be seeing the device in three colours – Cruise Blue, Matcha Green and Shadow Black.
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the same chip as the Poco F6, and will come with Android-based HyperOS software onboard. There’s a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging support. More details around the phone should be available post-launch on June 12.
