The much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy features India and Australia locking horns in a five-match Test series. After registering remarkable cricketing victories on Australian soil in 2020-21 and 2023-24, all eyes will on this upcoming Test series.
This clash is critical for the Indian team as they need to win at least four Test matches in order to secure a direct qualification for the ICC World Test Championship final that is scheduled to be held at Lord’s in June 2025.
What is the schedule for Border-Gavaskar Trophy?
All the five Test matches will be played at a different iconic stadiums in Australia. The opening match will be played in Perth from November 22 to 26. The match will begin at 7:50AM IST. The second Test will take place from December 6 to 10 in Adelaide starting at 9:30AM IST. The third test will be hosted in Brisbane from December 14 to 18, this match is set to begin at 5:50AM IST.
The last cricket match of the year will be held at Melbourne Cricket Ground from December 26 to 30 starting from 5:00AM IST. Melbourne will feature the final Test match between these rivals from January 2 to 7 at 5:00AM IST.
Where can I watch the Border-Gavasakar Trophy?
For those who prefer to watch the same on TV, Star Sports Network has secured the television broadcast rights for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, and you can watch the matches on the channel on any supported TV.

The entire tour of Australia will be streamed on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. Those who have the app can enjoy the matches on their smartphones or Smart TVs while the ones using the website can stream it on laptops or desktops.
