WhatsApp is a great tool for day-to-day communication, be it business or personal use. That said, it is its various elements that make it a sought-after platform for communication. From polls to emojis and even stickers, there’s a lot users can rely on to express themselves effectively.
However, as fun as they are, stickers on WhatsApp don’t really scream ‘organised’. In fact, we all have that one group chat that often demands a sticker war, only to have you endlessly scrolling, looking for your favourite ones. But WhatsApp seems to be working on an update that may just let you manage your collection, if not organise them, well.
WhatsApp may let you create your own sticker pack
According to WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned platform is currently testing a feature that will allow users to create their very own sticker pack. The feature which currently requires users to download and use a third-party app will soon be functional natively, allowing users to share it with their friends without a hassle.

The website also mentions how the new functionality has been introduced to reduce the clutter that comes with importing stickers from different apps. This will reportedly also help manage the ‘Favourites’ tab better, which currently displays Stickers out of now logic or order.
Apart from this, the publication also mentions that users will be able to add or remove stickers from their collection. The sticker packs are also shareable and are easy to send to contacts, who will later be able to download and save them with two taps.
While this will certainly bring in a level of organisation on the smartphone app, stickers may still be difficult to identify owing to their nature. That said, with WhatsApp considering multiple layers of updates for the platform, there might just be a fitting solution in the pipeline for users looking forward.
When will the feature be available for everyone?
The feature is currently only available for WhatsApp beta for Android v2.24.22.13 users. Whether or not the feature makes its way to a larger audience remains to be seen.
