Picture this: You’re dealing with a barrage of texts from your friends, family, and colleagues, all at once. Just as you’re halfway through replying to one, another more urgent message pops up, and you begin replying to them, only to forget about the first one. Has this ever happened to you?
If yes, WhatsApp beta for iOS has a rather handy new drafts label feature that may help you avoid just that. Read on.
Draft label feature on WhatsApp: What’s there to know?
According to WABetaInfo, the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS gets a new draft label feature which helps you keep track of partially composed messages to revisit and complete them as and when you get a chance.

This is especially useful when one is juggling multiple conversations at the same time, as it saves one the time of having to sift through their chat box, searching for conversations that are left halfway.
Your chats, when you exit them with a partially composed message still in the text box, will now be highlighted with a label in green that says “Draft”. Additionally, a preview of the message also helps ensure you don’t forget what you are talking about.
Other features to look out for on WhatsApp for iPhones
That’s not the only handy new feature one gets on WhatsApp for iPhones. With version 24.21.82, you also have the option to add home screen widgets for chats. These could include recent chats, frequently contacted ones, or even your favourites and pinned chats.

These widgets provide real-time updates, which allows quick access to these messages, and ensures they stay on top of things at all times. Not to mention, this also helps keep their inbox clean and organised.
If you don’t see these features on your iPhone yet though, fret not. Just ensure the WhatsApp application is updated to the latest note version on your smartphone, and you should receive the features on your phone in the coming weeks.
