Vivo X200, X200 Pro are new premium smartphones with Zeiss-branded cameras

Vivo has launched a new flagship smartphone series in India. Dubbed the Vivo X200 series, it comprises of the X200 and X200 Pro models. Some of the highlights of the series include Zeiss-branded cameras, a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, and up to 6,000mAh battery. Let’s see the full specifications, features, and price of the phones.

Vivo X200, X200 Pro specifications and features

The Vivo X200 features a 6.67-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate support. The X200 Pro is a tad bit larger with a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED screen with the same resolution and a refresh rate support between 1Hz to 120Hz.

Both phones have a glass fiber back and feature an in-display optical fingerprint scanner for added security. The duo also has IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rating, adding to their durability.

Powering the series is a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The Vivo X200 packs a 5,800mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. The X200 Pro, on the other hand, houses a larger 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless fast charging support.

The major difference between the X200 and X200 Pro is in terms of the cameras. The Vivo X200 boasts a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP Sony LYT-818 main lens, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.

The Vivo X200 Pro also sports a triple-rear camera array with the same main and ultra-wide sensors as X200, but with a better telephoto lens, i.e., a 200MP Samsung HP9 Zeiss APO sensor with 3.7x optical zoom. The main and the telephoto sensors have optical image stabilisation (OIS) support for a smooth footage. Both have a 32MP selfie camera.

Apart from this, the series has 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 54, and GPS support. It runs on Android 15 OS out of the box with FuntouchOS 15 on top. Vivo has promised four OS updates and five security updates on these phones.

Vivo X200, X200 Pro price and availability

Vivo X200 is priced at Rs 65,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant costs Rs 71,999. It has two colour options, namely Natural Green and Cosmos Black.

Vivo X200 Pro costs Rs 94,999 for the lone 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. It has Titanium Grey and Cosmos Black colour options. Both phones will be available for purchase in the online and offline markets from December 19.

The Vivo X200 series rivals OnePlus 13, iQOO 13, and Realme GT 7 Pro. All three models are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and come with compelling cameras.
