Budget smartphone manufacturers such as Oppo, Xiaomi, and Nothing amongst others have increasingly begun to venture into the premium smartphone space, with offerings such as the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ and the Nothing Phone 2. Vivo happens to be one more such example and has just unveiled its latest flagship offerings for India – the X100 and X100 Pro. Here’s all you need to know.
Vivo X100, X100 Pro key features, specifications
Vivo’s X100 and X100 Pro are the successors to Vivo’s X90 and X90 Pro models. Just like their predecessors, the two devices are also camera-focused smartphones.
Both, the X100 and X100 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. While the base X100 is available in a 12GB RAM and 256 GB storage, as well as a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, the higher-end Vivo X100 Pro is available in a sole 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant.

Now, let’s talk optics. Both the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro feature a triple-camera setup at the rear, co-developed with Zeiss, housed in a large circular island at the back, albeit with a few differences.
The base Vivo X100 comes with a 50MP Sony IMX920 VCS bionic sensor with support for OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP telephoto sensor with support for 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
