Vivo T3 Ultra 5G launched in India with 4,500 nits peak brightness

Vivo took nearly five months to launch the Vivo T3 Pro 5G, the mid-range offering in Vivo’s T3 lineup of smartphones in India, after having unveiled the base Vivo T3 5G back in March. However, it’s been just about two weeks since then, and the company has already taken the wraps off of the top-of-the-line Vivo T3 Ultra 5G. Here’s all you need to know.

Vivo T3 Ultra 5G: Pricing and key specifications

The new Vivo T3 Ultra 5G is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, and is available in three variants. Two of these come with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, and a third variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Under the hood, the phone packs a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W FlashCharge, which Vivo claims can charge the phone from zero per cent to 100 per cent in just 55 minutes. What’s cool is, the phone also gets a vapour cooling chamber to ensure it never runs hot under heavy multitasking or gaming.

The display on the Vivo T3 Ultra 5G is a 1.5K resolution curved AMOLED unit, 6.78 inches in size. The refresh rate on the display stands at 120Hz. Vivo claims the peak brightness here can climb up to as much as 4,500 nits.

The phone also comes with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. This means whether it’s sudden lashings of rain or sweat at the gym, the phone should be able to take it in its stride pretty well.

Coming to the cameras, the Vivo T3 Ultra 5G sports a dual camera setup at the rear, with a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor, with support for hybrid image stabilisation (OIS + EIS). On the front is a high-resolution 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The Vivo T3 Ultra comes running on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 straight out of the box. How many years of software updates and security patches it gets however, the company makes no mention of.

Vivo T3 Ultra 5G: Pricing and availability

The Vivo T3 Ultra 5G is available in two colours – Lunar Gray and Frost Green. The device is priced at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB RAM variant with 128 GB, whereas the 256GB storage variant costs Rs 33,999. On the other hand, the 12GB RAM variant costs Rs 35,999.

The Vivo T3 Ultra 5G officially goes on sale on September 19 and can be purchased from the Vivo websites and stores, as well as from other major e-commerce platforms and partner retail outlets across the country.
