Emojis have made their way into our informal (and formal!) conversations, but we’re always short of the right one to express ourselves. A lot of that will be off the cards though, as the iOS 17.4 update is expected to bring a bunch of new emojis to spice up your group conversations. If you don’t have your iPhone updated to the beta version yet, no sweat. Check out the exciting list of emojis that you will soon have access to.
6 new emojis coming to you with the iOS 17.4 update
With iOS 17.4, you will soon be able to (and more definitively) approve or disapprove conversations with new shaking head emojis. Apple has also added a new mushroom emoji that looks more out of your grocery list than a Mario game.
Keeping the list in mind, you will also have two lime emojis, along with broken chains, that will add more meaning to your Friday night plans. And, if that’s not all, Apple has also added a Phoenix emoji that will help you describe the following Monday even better!

Apart from this, a few other variations of the family emojis with a more gender-neutral approach have also been added to the slew. Other popular emojis like walking, running, kneeling, wheelchairs and a person using a white cane will feature more skin tone options. The new emoji update will also bring in the much-awaited pink heart, along with donkey, monkey and goose.
Which iOS devices can use the new emojis?
The new emojis are currently only available on the beta version of iOS 17.4 for iPhone, macOS 14.4 on the Mac, watchOS 10.4 for Apple Watch, and iPadOS 17.4 for iPad. There has been no statement for the update on the VisionPro yet.
