Tecno MegaPad 10 is an affordable tablet with a large display

Tecno has announced a new tablet, called the Tecno MegaPad 10. As the Mega in the name suggests, this tablet comes with a large display, and an equally large battery. If you are in the market for an affordable tablet, the Tecno MegaPad 10 could be just the tablet for you.

Tecno MegaPad 10 key features, specifications

Tecno MegaPad 10 features a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display sporting an HD+ resolution (800 x 1280 pixels). The screen has 450 nits of brightness and an 80 per cent screen-to-body ratio for better viewability. Additional screen features include Eye Comfort Mode and Dark Mode.

In terms of the optics, the MegaPad 10 boasts a 13MP main rear camera sensor. The rear setup is capable of shooting 1080p videos. Upfront, it has a 5MP camera for clicking selfies and doing video meetings.

Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also comes with 256GB of storage variant. The tablet boots on Android 14 out of the box with HiOS custom skin on top.

As for the battery, the tablet packs a 7,000mAh battery, which is massive, but for a tablet-sized 10.1 inches, it is par for the course. There’s support for 18W wired charging. Tecno says that the device can go up to 100 per cent in just 2.5 hours via the Type-C port.

The tablet has 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity. It also has a 3.5mm headphone for connecting your wired earphones and headphones. The device also has a stereo speaker setup for an immersive listening experience.

At the time of filing this story, Tecno hasn’t revealed the price of the MegaPad 10. However, expect the tablet to be placed in the affordable segment. It will go on sale in select global markets soon. We expect the MegaPad 10 to be also available in more markets, including India.
