Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: 5 best Easter eggs by the pop star that we love

Taylor Swift has been making headlines for a while now. Beginning from the release of her 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album to her concert tour, which is currently taking place in the US, Asia and Europe, and even her infamous ticket prices! But for those who can’t make the most of the Eras Tour, Swift has ensured to air a recorded version of her concert as a film for fans across the world. We’re sure you have your tickets booked, and the anticipation is at an all-time high, and there couldn’t be a better time to take a trip down memory lane with her digital Easter eggs. Revisit them here:

5 Taylor Swift clues that were absolute genius

For those new to the fandom, Swift is best known for being a mastermind who sends her fans on a scavenger hunt. Whether it is secret album messages, witty social media marketing or giant overnight murals (yes, you read right), perhaps the best part about being a Swiftie is getting to decode her digital clues and getting her album details. While it is impossible to list down every one of her Easter eggs, we have a list of the top five that we think are her best ones.

Album messages: Everyone who has been a fan of the 32-year-old pop star for a while now remembers her early days as a country artist. Any album bought had its own lyric booklet that came with a ‘secret’ message from the singer. Fans around the world have ardently put together her randomly capitalised letters to have a statement or clue to the inspiration behind her songs.

Reputation blackout: Right before the predicted release of Swift’s album Reputation, the singer went on a social media blackout without any intimation. However, if that’s not all, the period also marked the longest time Swift stayed out of news or media. Unlike her other albums, the giveaway was her silence and staying low-key on the internet.

Red (TV) word search: In another instance, fans had the time of their lives unjumbling puzzles set by Swift on her Instagram and Twitter. The words revealed songs from The Vault, with a safe locker opening up to the treasure (song names). Users around the world whipped up their smartphones to race and find the names of her prized tracks.

1989 (TV) Vault tracks: In a more recent example, Swift sent her fans searching for clues based on Google search results. On completing a clue, fans were led to a results page based on scrambled words on X (formerly Twitter). The tracks were then revealed before the release of the album.

Lover-coded outfits: Swift is not just about word games and treasure hunts. Fans are also quick to spot pastel shades suddenly appearing in the singer’s wardrobe before the release of Lover. In fact, she also continues to keep adding elements of her album to her iconic performance outfits, accessories and makeup, making sure there’s never a dull moment around her appearances.

We’re not sure if there are any future clues hidden in the Taylor Swift Eras Tour movie, but we definitely have the best seats booked to not miss out on any of them.
