Sony ULT Power Sound speakers, headphones launched for bass lovers

Sony today launched a new range of speakers and headphones designed specially for music lovers. Unlike other audio products Sony already has in its arsenal, the new Sony ULT Power Sound series of products cater to bass lovers and enthusiasts.

The highlight of all the new speakers and headphones is a dedicated ULT button that lets you switch between different bass output modes in one tap. The button will let you switch between a more subtle bass boost and a heavier one, letting you choose what kind of output suits your music taste the best.

Aimed at a quality sound experience for individuals as well as families and groups, the series comprises three wireless speakers and a pair of wireless noise cancelling headphones. Here’s everything you need to know about the new products.

Sony ULT Tower 10

The flagship product of the series is the Sony ULT Tower 10, a vertical party speaker which comes with many features. These include omni-directional 360-sound output as well as 360-lights, which accompany your music with synced visual flair. The ULT Tower 10 also supports a native Karaoke mode, thanks to a bundled wireless microphone. The Sony ULT Tower 10 is priced at Rs 89,900.

Sony ULT Field 7

The Sony ULT Field 7 is a slightly more compact wireless speaker that’s great for more portable use-cases. Despite offering a more compact form factor, the ULT Field 7 comes with enough power to pack a punch in outdoor parties. It also packs IP67 water and dust resistance for the beach. The ULT Field 7 is priced at Rs 39,990.

Sony ULT Field 1

The Sony ULT Field 1 is yet another compact Bluetooth speaker that offers a more compact form factor. The ULT Field 1 comes with 12 hours of battery life and IP67 water and dist resistance. The speaker is also available in multiple colour options including black, off-white, forest grey and orange. The Sony Field 1 is priced at Rs 10,990.

Sony ULT Wear

The Sony ULT Wear is a pair of headphones that comes with Noise Cancellation. The headphones come with the same V1 processor that powers Sony’s 1000X series headphones like the WH-1000XM5. The headphones pack the same ULT button like the speakers, and come with advanced features like wear detection and multipoint connectivity. The Sony ULT Wear is priced at Rs 16,990.

The new Sony speakers and headphones will be available from May 27 on the Sony website as well as leading retail channels.
