Sony Inzone Buds are the company’s latest offering for gamers

Your gaming setup just got a whole lot cleaner

Sony Inzone Buds are the company’s latest offering for gamers

Any gamer knows that a good pair of earphones/headphones is a central part of their setup. Now, while wired headphones are generally recommended, Sony’s gaming lineup has received a new pair of TWS earbuds – the Inzone Buds.

One of the first premium gaming TWS earbuds in India, the Sony Inzone Buds pack several interesting features.

Low latency

Sony’s Inzone Buds feature a low latency of below 30ms, meaning there’s little to no audio lag during those intense Call of Duty sessions. They do this using LC3 codec and Bluetooth Low Energy for audio transmission.

AI noise filtration

The Inzone Buds feature AI-based noise filtration capabilities in their microphone. In essence, it uses on-board AI which has been trained on over 500 million voice samples, to cancel out any ambient noises when a player speaks into the mic.

The filtration is also not just restricted to the microphone. The TWS earbuds also feature Active Noise Cancellation capabilities (ANC) filtering out any external disturbances to provide an immersive gaming experience.

Spatial Audio

The Inzone Buds feature support for spatial audio. Spatial audio, also referred to as virtual surround sound, gives you the impression of being surrounded by several audio devices, firing sound toward them from all directions.

Players can take a picture of their ears and upload it on the Sony companion app, and the Inzone Buds will optimise their sound output based on the shape of the player’s ears.

Customisable touch controls

The Buds feature customisable touch controls for adjusting the volume and music playback. These controls can also be customised via the Inzone hub, and you can set different actions such as double, triple, or long-tapping for your desired controls.

Battery life

The Sony Inzone gaming earbuds have a battery life of as much as 12 hours on a single charge, which can be extended up to 24 hours with the charging case.

The case can be charged via a USB Type-C port. They also support fast charging and provide for up to an hour’s playtime with just five minutes of charge.

Sony Inzone Buds: Pricing and availability

The Sony Inzone Buds are available in white and black colourways and are priced at Rs 17,990. They can be purchased from Sony retail stores and its websites, as well as all other major e-commerce portals and partner retail outlets across the country.

Now, should you not happen to necessarily require a pair of TWS earbuds solely for gaming, but are looking for a pair that can do a little bit of everything, you can consider purchasing the Sony WF-1000XM4, the Apple AirPods Pro Gen 2, and the Marshall Motif II TWS earbuds.
