Sony Bravia 7 Mini LED 4K TV series debuts in 55, 65 and 75-inch display sizes

Expanding its Bravia lineup, Sony introduced the Bravia 7 Mini LED 4K TVs in India today which offers both design as well as feature upgrades. Users will be able to choose between 55, 65 and 75-inch display sizes, and will be able to enjoy Studio Calibrated modes along with IMAX Enhanced certification. Here’s everything you need to know.

Sony Bravia 7 series: Key features to look out for

Sony has equipped the Bravia 7 series with a Cognitive Processor XR chipset which, the company claims, facilitates enhanced picture quality. It also helps render scene recognition, which identifies focal points within a particular scene for detailed visuals.

The television comes with two side-mounted speakers that are backed with Sony’s acoustic multi-audio and voice zoom 3. This helps recognise human dialogue using AI machine learning and it also amplifies or reduces the volume based on the scene. Sony has also provided a 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology in the TVs, which the brand says creates ‘phantom’ speakers in the room.

Apart from this, all three variants offer 4K native resolution, and the televisions also come with XR Triluminos Pro for accurate colour reproduction and saturation levels. It also gets the XR Clear Image to give all your images into near-4K resolution using a custom database.

Lastly, the Sony Bravia 7 series blends into your decor with its One Slate display concept. This addition helps reduce distractions and promotes minimalism as well. The TV also gets near-to-nothing bezels that can seamlessly be integrated into a contemporary space.

Sony Bravia 7 series: Price and availability

The Sony Bravia 7 series is priced at Rs 1,82,990 for the 55-inch variant and Rs 2,29,990 for the 65-inch variant. Sony is yet to announce the price of its 75-inch variant and is reportedly planning to reveal it in the second half of this year.

The other two models can be purchased at key retail outlets as well as Sony’s official website. Other options within this price range include Samsung 9 Series 65-inch OLED 4K Ultra HD Tizen TV or LG evo C4 65-inch OLED 4K Ultra HD WebOS TV.
