Samsung’s new 2024 Smart ACs, Hot-and-Cold ACs are here to beat the heat

As we slowly head into the last of the Indian winter months, the demand for air conditioners is about to go up. Ahead of the same, Samsung has announced a bunch of new air conditioners, including both standard and smart ACs.

The new air conditioners are also all inverter ACs, and are available in 1.5-ton and 2-ton variants. Here’s all you need to know about each of them.

New Samsung Smart Inverter ACs

Samsung has announced three new smart ACs. These are the AR18CY3ANWK, the AR18CY5AMWK and the AR24CY3AAGB. The AR18CY3ANWK is a 1.5-ton smart inverter AC which comes with a 3-star energy rating.

Meanwhile the AR18CY5AMWK is also a 1.5-ton smart inverter AC that comes with a 5-star energy rating. The AR24CY3AAGB is made for larger rooms and halls, and is a 2-ton smart inverter AC with a 3-star energy rating.

All three models come with smart features like AI Energy Mode, which allows the AC to monitor your usage patters to adjust its temperature and compressor frequency accordingly to reduce your energy bill.

Via the SmartThings app, users can also automate the ACs’ cooling, while smart control lets them use a voice assistant like Google Assistant, Bixby or Alexa.

New Hot-and-Cold and standard ACs

The lineup also includes the AR18CX3ZAWK, a hot-and-cold AC that allows you to use the AC as a cooling solution in the summers as well as a heater during the colder parts of the year. The AR18CX3ZAWK inverter AC comes with a 1.5-ton capacity and 3-star energy rating.

Other ACs in the lineup include the AR18CY3ZAWK, a 1.5-ton inverter AC with 3-star energy rating, the AR18CY5ZAWK, a 1.5-ton inverter AC with 5-star energy rating and finally, the AR24CY3ZAGD, which is a larger capacity 2-ton AC with 3-star energy rating.

All the models mentioned above come with 10-year compressor warranty, 5-year PCB warranty and 1-year comprehensive warranty. The new ACs start at Rs 39,990 and will soon be available on Croma.
