Samsung 2024 TVs: Features to look out for

In an attempt to kick off the AI screen era, Samsung’s new lineup comes with a next-generation AI processor. According to a statement by Samsung, the new televisions aim to provide consumers with AI-powered features along with added security by Samsung Knox.

Neo QLED TV with AI capabilities

Samsung introduced its Neo QLED TV with 4K and 8K resolutions to cater to a larger-than-life picture quality. Additionally, it comes with enhanced 8K upscaling that sharpens low-resolution content by transforming it to ultra-high resolution.

Keeping sports enthusiasts in mind, Samsung has also equipped its Neo QLED TVs with AI Motion Enhancer Pro to stream in high resolution and minimise common issues such as distortion or blur. Apart from this, it is designed for an immersive experience and comes with 2024 Q-Symphony to let users connect multiple wireless speakers with a soundbar or projector without compromising on audio synchronisation.

Improved Tizen OS

The new lineup puts an improved Tizen OS on the forefront, with a special focus on personalised content and service experience. This allows different members of the same household to set up a Samsung TV profile for themselves. These profiles will further provide personalised content recommendations and, in turn, a better-customised overall experience. Apart from this, the updated UI now has a home screen for an easy overview of all the available content.

Users will be able to access their favourites via a seamless Samsung account integration and will even be provided with tailored suggestions based on history. Lastly, Samsung has also partnered with gaming accessory provider Performance Designed Products (PDP) to design the first ‘Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub’ controller. This addition will be launched later this week at CES 2024.

Better connectivity with the Samsung ecosystem

Samsung has also prioritised connectivity and has ensured users enjoy uninterrupted streaming between devices without a hassle. It further plans to enhance this experience with Samsung Daily+ for in-home activity. Some of its wide range of services and features include TechnoGym, FlexIt, Dr Tail and Workout Tracker, among others.

MICRO LED TVs

Apart from this addition, Samsung has rolled out its new MICRO LED TV that resembles an almost futuristic, transparent glass. It comes built-in with an extremely small MICRO LED chip that is designed to eliminate seams and light refraction. This enables the TV to create a clear, unobstructed picture that can be used for home or commercial settings.

Samsung's other lifestyle products

Samsung has also brought forth a unique lineup of other lifestyle products. These include updates to The Frame TV and a Premiere 8K Projector that offers wireless connectivity. While the company hasn’t made it clear as to when the products will be available for purchase just yet, don’t forget to watch this space for any further announcements within the segment.
