Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A23 5G smartphones launched in India

Samsung has just launched two new 5G smartphones in India under its A-series. These new devices are the Galaxy A23 5G and the Galaxy A14 5G. Costing under Rs 25,000, both new Samsung smartphones are mid-range devices targeted at consumers looking to experience 5G speeds without spending too much. Here’s all you need to know about both the devices, starting with the more affordable one of the two.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G key specifications, features, prices

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G comes with a 6.6-inch 90Hz LCD display panel and 1080p resolution. The phone is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1330 octa-core processor along with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone also packs a 5,000mAh battery and a triple-camera setup on the back comprising a 50MP main camera along with a depth and macro camera. There’s also a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 starts at Rs 16,499 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant, while a 6GB RAM, 128GB storage variant comes in at Rs 18,999. There is also an 8GB RAM variant that is priced at Rs 20,999.

Already available on Samsung’s website from today, the Galaxy A14 5G will be available on other online and offline platforms from January 20. The device is available in three colours – dark red, light green and black.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G key specifications, features, prices

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is a more powerful mid-range phone, although it still shares some specifications with the A14. These include a 6.6-inch 1080p PCD display panel, which now gets 120Hz refresh rate. There is also a waterdrop notch on the top to house the front camera.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset which is accompanied by 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There are four cameras on the back here, including a main 50MP camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and two smaller depth and macro camera sensors. There is also a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone is kept running by a 5,000mAh battery which supports 25W charging.

The Galaxy A23 5G starts at Rs 22,999 for the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage variant and Rs 24,999 for the 8GB RAM, 128GB storage variant. Both variants are available in three colours – silver, light blue and orange. Starting sales today on Samsung’s website, the Galaxy A23 5G will also be available on other platforms from January 20.
