Samsung M55s 5G with 50MP selfie camera launched in India

Samsung has announced a new addition to its Galaxy M series, called the Galaxy M55s 5G. This new mid-range phone comes with a host of interesting features without breaking the bank. Read on to find out everything about the latest Samsung phone.

Samsung M55s 5G key features and specs

Featuring a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display, the Samsung M55s 5G offers a refresh rate of 120Hz. The bigger screen size provides a good viewing experience for daily media consumption. The smartphone also comes with Vision Booster technology that is said to provide a good viewing and scrolling experience even in bright daylight.

The new smartphone is sleek in design measuring 7.8mm in width and weighs around 180 grams which makes it easier for users to hold it and carry around.

Powered by 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor, the smartphone provides good processing speeds that can enable faster downloads, smoother streaming and mobile gaming experience.

Coming to the cameras, the Samsung smartphone features a 50MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). This will ensure you shoot shake-free videos and minimises the number of blurred images in your gallery.

The cameras are also enhanced with Nightography, which allows the users to click low-light pictures and videos.

The Samsung phone further features a 50MP high-resolution front camera for sharper selfies. The Galaxy M55s 5G also features such as Image Clipper and Object Eraser. It also showcases Dual Recording which will let the users record a video simultaneously using the rear and front camera, which makes things easier for user to create social media content.

To ensure long browsing sessions or binge watching, the smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. Samsung commits four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

Samsung M55s 5G: Price, availability

The Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G will be available in two different storage capacities while the RAM remains the same. The 128GB storage variant will be available at Rs 19,999 and the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 22,999.

The smartphone will be available for purchase on September 26 in two colours – Coral Green and Thunder Black. While you wait, there are some other smartphone options available right now, including the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G.
