The Samsung Galaxy S24 series made waves with its launch early this year and brought forth a host of exciting features for anticipating users. Apart from its elevated camera specs, the phones also boast Samsung’s new Galaxy AI feature set.
The artificial intelligence-powered addition came along with the base Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, Samsung later announced and made it available for other devices as well. But if the #FOMO has gotten to you, you’re not the only one.
The brand has rolled out an app built to replicate the Samsung OneUI 6.1 interface on almost any smartphone. So, whether you’re an iOS or any other Android phone user, here’s how to use the Samsung ‘Try Galaxy’ app on your device:
Samsung Try Galaxy app: What's there to know?
Samsung’s Try Galaxy is a progressive web application (PWA) built to stimulate the features of a Samsung phone on just about any device. It further provides users with interactive experiences in a virtual space using AI-led features like Live Translate, Chat Assist, Note Assist, Photo Assist and Circle to Search.

Of course, since the application is a PWA, you will not be able to find it on Google Play Store or App Store. Instead, Samsung has made it available on a dedicated page (trygalaxy.com), which will let users try it out with a simple OR code.
How to use the Samsung Try Galaxy app
On visiting the website, you will be met with a message that notifies you of how the app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices but may not be perfectly optimised. It will largely depend upon the device models, settings, screen sizes, and network connection that you’re currently using.
Once you finish scanning the code on your smartphone, you will be led to a new window that welcomes you to a Samsung Galaxy UI screen. Then, a short tutorial will acquaint you with the home screen and features. After this, you will be able to try out most features, including changing your wallpaper and style.
You can further try out the different elements on your screen. While most of the features will give you a true-to-life experience, certain elements, like Nightography, will lead you to a demonstrative video or image to replicate the effect.
While the approach is certainly a cool way to experience the Samsung UI, bear in mind that a lot of the lag of your phone will depend upon the device you’re using.
