Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which brings on-device AI to the phone. This should work nicely with the Galaxy AI suite of AI features, many of which can work on-device, just like the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. The phone also comes with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage.
Coming to the cameras, the Galaxy Z Fold6 sports a 50MP wide angle camera with OIS, together with a 12MP ultrawide and a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor on the back. These are the main cameras of the phone, but there is also a 10MP front camera on the cover (along with the smaller outer screen) for video calls and selfies. Open the phone up, and you have another 4MP under display camera that is camouflaged when you don’t need it.
Other features include a 4,400mAh battery, 25W wired charging and support for wireless and reverse wireless charging, and for the first time, an IP48 certification, which makes this the first phone resistant to dust.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 also comes with Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1, which again, will be updated for the next seven years, just like the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 key features and specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED inner display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. On the outside is a smaller 3.4-inch Super AMOLED 60Hz display. The phone measures 71.9 x 85.1 x 14.9mm when folded and 71.9 x 165.1 x 6.9mm when unfolded. It weighs just 187 grams.

For the cameras, the Galaxy Z Flip6 sports a dual rear camera comprising a 50MP main camera with OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. On the front is a 10MP camera for selfies and video calls.
