Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S25 series today. The launch is set for tonight, and we are expected to see at least three new smartphones in the series dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Here’s where you can watch the launch event and everything you can expect.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: Where to watch

Samsung has scheduled the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event for January 22, i.e., today. The launch event will begin at 11:30 PM IST. Those interested in watching the live event can click on the preview below.

At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung is expected to announce the new Galaxy S25 series, including the three phones mentioned above. We might even see a fourth model dubbed the Galaxy S25 Slim. Here’s everything you need to know about the phones.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series: What to expect

The base Galaxy S25 is expected to come with a 6.17-inch 2x Dynamic AMOLED display. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25+ may get a larger 6.7-inch 2x Dynamic AMOLED screen. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to get even larger 6.9-inch 2x Dynamic AMOLED panel with a QHD+ resolution support.

Out of the three models expected at the event, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be the top-of-the-line flagship, and it will feature a new design than the predecessor. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ will boast a refined design as opposed to the Galaxy S24 and the S24+.

All the S25 models, including the Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to have rounded corners. Performance-wise, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will likely be powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The base and the Plus models may draw power from an Exynos chipset.

Expect a new set of AI features on all the Galaxy S25 phones. The series will boot on Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. Apart from performance and software, the cameras on the series will also be a highlight. Reports suggest that the base and the Plus model may get a triple-rear camera system with an improved 50MP main sensor. Both phones will also have a telephoto and an ultra-wide sensor.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be equipped with a quad-rear camera system, featuring an improved 200MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom, a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor.

In terms of the battery, the Galaxy S25 duo may not get any major upgrades. Lastly, expect some new colour options like blue, coral red, and green, among others.
