Samsung Galaxy A05s gets a price cut, now available under Rs 12,000

Samsung has recently been dropping its prices on a lot of phones ahead of the brand’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. The latest of these is the entry-level Samsung Galaxy A05s, which now gets a discount of Rs 2,000. The phone, originally launched at Rs 13,499, is now available at Rs 11,499. To get the Samsung Galaxy A05s in its new reduced price, simply head to Croma and search for the Samsung Galaxy A05s. You should find the device already priced at Rs 2,000 lesser than its original launch price.

Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy A05s at this price?

While the Samsung Galaxy A05s is available at its lowest-ever price point, do remember that you will miss out on 5G connectivity with this entry-level phone. 5G connectivity does make your smartphone a little future-proof, spending a little more in this segment can get you an affordable 5G phone like the Realme C67 5G or the Oppo A59 5G.

If 5G connectivity is not an important feature for you, you can go ahead with the Samsung Galaxy A05s, which otherwise is a great 4G phone with good specifications for this price.

The Samsung Galaxy A05s comes with a 6.71-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and comes with 4GB or 6GB RAM. Both variants of the phone will come with 128GB storage as well.

The Galaxy A05s also comes with a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50MP main camera, along with a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. There is also a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The device also sports a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. Samsung has also promised two years of Android updates and four years of security patches on the phone. Lastly, the phone is available in Light Green, Light Violet and Black colours.
