Earlier this week, Redmi unveiled the Redmi K70 series of smartphones, and of course, let’s not forget the K70 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse Edition. While the smartphones hogged the spotlight, there were two other devices also announced at the same event – the Redmi Watch 4 and the Redmi Buds 5 Pro.
Redmi Watch 4 key features
The new Redmi Watch 4 Pro sports an aluminium alloy casing with a 1.97-inch AMOLED display, 390 x 450 pixels resolution, and 600 nits of peak brightness. Interestingly, the smartwatch runs HyperOS.
While the Redmi Watch 4 features over 150 sports modes, what’s cool is that it comes with an in0built voice coach that you can train with. Apart from that, it comes with the usual heart rate and blood-oxygen-level sensors, along with stress management, sleep tracking as well as breathing training capabilities. It also features GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC connectivity.
The smartwatch has a 470mAh battery which Redmi claims, offers a battery life of up to 20 days with normal usage, and up to 10 days with the always-on display feature turned on, on a single charge. The water resistance capacity of the Redmi Watch 4 stands at 5ATM.
Redmi Buds 5 Pro key features
Redmi’s latest offering the TWS earbud segment, the Redmi Buds 5 Pro comes with 10mm ceramic-coated tweeters and 11mm titanium-plated woofers. They feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) capabilities of up to 52dB, and 49ms low latency. There is also an E-sports version, which comes with a USB Type-C 2.4Ghz transmitter, with a latency of 20ms.
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro feature an IP54 water and dust resistance rating, meaning they should be able to handle the occasional spills and splashes. The earbuds, Redmi claims, offer a battery life of as much as 38 hours with the case. On their own, the earbuds offer a playtime of up to 6.5 hours with ANC turned on, and 10 hours with the same turned off.
