Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series has been one of the most popular mid-range series of smartphones for years now. Unsurprisingly, a successor to the Redmi Note 13 series has been on the way. Now, the new phones have finally gone official in Xiaomi’s home turf.
The Redmi Note 14 series is now available in China. The series will include a standard model, a Pro model and a Pro+ variant. Here’s everything you need to know about all three phones, including specifications, features and approximate pricing.
Redmi Note 14: Specifications and features
The Redmi Note 14 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and TUV Rheinland certification. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset,the phone also comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Coming to the cameras, the smartphone houses a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens along with a 16MP lens on the front for selfies and video chats. Lastly, there’s also a 5,110mAh battery and support for 45W wired fast charging.
Redmi Note 14 Pro: Specifications and features
Diving into the specs of the Redmi Note 14 Pro, it also showcases a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen that offers an impressive 1.5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. It provides a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The visual experience is supported with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision compatibility.
Coming to the cameras, The Redmi Note 14 Pro provides a sleek look with a squircle-designed (a square has circular edges) camera module that is placed in the center. The camera module includes a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is 20MP which is sufficient for good-resolution selfies.

This device has an IP69 rating which means the smartphone is dust and water-resistant. The front is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It comes with an integrated fingerprint scanner.
Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, this variant supports up to 12GB of RAM with different variants available depending on storage capacity. It is backed by a 5,500mAh battery with 45W charging capabilities. The Redmi Note 14 Pro operates on HyperOS based on Android 14.
Redmi Note 14 Pro+: Specifications and features
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ looks the same as the Pro variant with similar features in terms of screen size, position of the camera, and protection rating. However, there are a few differences between both devices.

The camera on Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is better, it features a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom. This variant utilises a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip processor. The Pro+ model offers a maximum of 16GB of RAM and can go up to 512GB of internal storage.
Coming to the battery, the higher variant features a 6,200mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. Just like the Pro variant, The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ operates on HyperOS which is based on Android 14.
Redmi Note 14 series: Price, availability
The newly announced series will be available in Midnight Black, Mirror Porcelain White. The Pro model comes in additional colours like Phantom Blue and Twilight Purple while the Pro+ will be available in Sandstar Green.
The base model, Redmi Note 14 Pro is priced at CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs 16,700) which comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The 256GB variant will be available at CNY 1,499 (around Rs 17,900). The higher options include 12GB RAM with 256GB capacity will cost you CNY 1,699 (estimated at Rs 20,500) while the 512GB model will amount to CNY 1,899 (around Rs 22,700).
Meanwhile, the Pro+ starts at CNY 1,899 (around Rs 22,700) for 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version. The 16GB RAM with 512GB capacity is priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 27,500).
Do note that the Redmi Note 14 series is not confirmed to launch in India just yet. Although, seeing the brand’s history, it does seem likely that the Android phones will make it to India.
