Competition in the mid-range smartphone segment has been steadily heating up. Several brands including OnePlus, Vivo and Oppo have come out with multiple offerings this year, and Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has just unveiled its latest offering – the Redmi Note 13R Pro. Here’s everything you need to know.
Redmi Note 13R Pro features, specifications
The new Redmi Note 13R Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset and comes with 12GB LPDDDR4x RAM, and 256Gb of UFS 2.2 storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charge.
The device sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a punch-hole design and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. Peak brightness, as per the brand, stands at 1,000 nits.
Speaking of optics, the Redmi Note 13R Pro features a dual-camera setup on the rear, with a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, is a 16MP punch-hole camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options on the device include support for Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3. Also, there’s good news for those who like to listen to music and take calls the old-fashioned way, on wired headphones, for the device features a 3.5mm audio jack as well. Moreover, what’s cool is, that the Redmi Note 13R Pro also features an IR blaster, a nifty little feature that allows one to control their ACs and TVs at home via their smartphone.
Redmi’s latest offering runs MIUI 14-based Android 13 straight out-of-the-box.

The new Redmi 13R Pro can be had in three colours – Time Blue, Morning Light gold, and Midnight Black. It has currently been announced for the Chinese market, and is priced at CNY 1999, which is approximately Rs 23,800.
