Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has launched the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition in India, something the brand had hinted at previously.
The new edition of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ comes with a custom back panel that features the official emblem of the Argentine Football Association (AFA). Here’s everything you need to know about the smartphone.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition: What’s new?
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition is the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ on the inside but features an all-new back panel on the outside. The new back panel features a blue design inspired by the Argentina jersey. It also has a golden number ‘10’ imprint on the back, as an ode to Lionel Messi, the captain of the winning team.

The phone also comes packaged in a unique collector’s box, which features a special card congratulating the Argentina team and its players. There is also a custom 120W HyperCharger, completely draped in AFA colours, as well as a coloured USB-C cable, and a football-inspired SIM ejector pin.
On the software side, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition also sports a slightly revamped user interface, including new lock screen options, wallpapers and icons. You also get Android 14, and Android 15 should be available as an upgrade later. Everything else, is just like the standard Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
Pricing and availability
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition is priced at Rs 37,999 for the 12GB/512GB model. The phone will be available from May 15 through the Xiaomi website and other leading retailers.
If you don’t want to spend that amount on the special edition phone, you can also get the standard Redmi Note 13 Pro+ which costs Rs 35,999. Alternatively, you can also consider other phones like the Nothing Phone (2).
