Few devices have redefined the mid-range segment in the Indian smartphone market like the Redmi Note series. Now, the Xiaomi sub-brand has refreshed its Note lineup with the Redmi Note 13 series, succeeding the Redmi Note 12 series from last year.
The new Redmi Note 13 series comprises of the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and the top-of-the-line Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Here’s everything you need to know about the three smartphones, including price, features and specifications.
Redmi Note 13 5G top features, specifications
The Redmi Note 13 5G is the most affordable phone of the lot. It features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with an AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 1920Hz PWM dimming support.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chip, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The phone still supports a 3.5mm audio port and comes with features like an IR blaster to control other devices in your home. There is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast wired charging. Xiaomi has also promised three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.
Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G top features, specifications
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and the Note 13 Pro+ 5G also come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screens, but the panel here is curved, and comes with a higher 1.5K (1220 x 2712 pixels) resolution. The screens support 1,800 nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate, along with Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chip, while the top-end Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB RAM. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G comes with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and the Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes with up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Pro+ 5G also supports Wi-Fi 6 networks.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G comes with a 5,100mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes with a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery with support for faster 120W wired charging. Both smartphones also feature IP68 certification.
Redmi Note 13 series prices and availability
The Redmi Note 13 5G prices start at Rs 17,999 (6GB/128GB variant), Rs 19,999 (8GB/256GB variant) and go up to Rs 21,999 (12GB/256GB variant). The device comes in three colours – Arctic White, Prism Gold and Stealth Black.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 25,999 (8GB/128GB variant), Rs 27,999 (8GB/256GB variant), and Rs 29,999 (12GB/256GB variant). The phone can be bought in Arctic White, Coral Purple, and Midnight Black colours.
Lastly, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G is priced at Rs 31,999 (8GB/256GB variant), Rs 33,999 (12GB/256GB variant), and Rs 35,999 (12GB/512GB variant). The phone is available in Fusion Black, Fusion Purple, and Fusion White colours.
All three phones feature some of the best specifications in their respective segments, but other options to consider at these prices include the Nothing Phone (1) and the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G.
