Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone that is bound to keep you and your pockets smiling. Called the Redmi A1+, it is essentially the ‘Plus’ variant of the entry-level Redmi A1. While the two devices look identical, there are a few new features that is worth checking out. Read on to know everything about the Redmi A1+.

 

Xiaomi Redmi A1+ features, specs

As far as specs are concerned, the Redmi A1+ sports a 6.52-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with 120Hz touch sampling rate, and 400 nits of brightness. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, with up to 3GB of RAM, and 32GB storage. You can further expand the storage up to 512GB using a microSD card.

For photography, there’s a dual-camera setup at the back, which includes an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a depth sensor. Up front, there’s a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling.

Backing up the phone is a 5,000mAh battery, which can be juiced up using a 10W charger. Other features include a capacitive fingerprint sensor placed at the back, a 3.5mm audio jack, and built-in FM Radio. The smartphone runs Android 12 out-of-the-box.

The budget smartphone supports 4G connectivity, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and also includes dual-SIM card slots.

Xiaomi Redmi A1+ price, availability

Prices for the Redmi A1+ start from Rs 7,499 for the 2GB RAM variant, and go up to Rs 8,499 for the 3GB RAM variant. As a part of the festive offer, you can get this phone for Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999 respectively.

Colour choices include Black, Light Green, and Light Blue. The smartphone will be available from October 17 onwards on online and offline channels.
