Realme Pad 2 Lite brings some cool colours to the affordable tablet market

With a larger screen than a smartphone but a compact form factor that beats a laptop, tablets have seen a resurgence. No wonder, brands have been releasing more and more tablets every year. The latest of these is the Realme Pad 2 Lite.

Realme Pad 2 Lite: Features

The Realme Pad 2 Lite has a 10.95-inch 2K display with a 90Hz refresh rate with a peak brightness of 450 nits. Based on the latest Android 14 OS, the Pad 2 Lite comes pre-installed with Realme UI 5.0 which ensures access to newest features and security updates.

Under the hood, the Pad 2 Lite runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 processor which is paired with an ARM Mali GPU for graphics.

The base model of the tablet comes with a 4GB RAM WITH 128GB storage and a higher 8GB RAM variant with 256GB storage capacity. Realme has included Dynamic RAM technology on the 8GB RAM variant that can allocate an additional 8GB. It allows you to temporarily convert the ROM into a virtual RAM for more efficiency.

The audio experience is handled by quad stereo speakers with dual microphones enabled with noise cancellation ideal for calls and video conferencing.

It features an 8MP sensor on the rear and a 5MP front-facing camera which is not exemplary for photography enthusiasts but adequate for basic capturing and scanning purposes.

The device is packed with 8,300mAh battery with 15W charging support. It is equipped with an intelligent speed reduction charging feature which can identify when the device is in night rest mode and slows down the charging speed once the battery reaches over 89 per cent.

Realme Pad 2 Lite: Price

The Realme Pad 2 Lite tablet comes in two colour options namely Space Grey and Nebula Purple. The tablet has two variants based on the RAM and storage capacities. The 4GB RAM with 128GB storage is priced at Rs 14,999 and the 8GB RAM unit with a 128GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999. The tablet will be available for purchase soon.
