Realme has just shaken up the cutthroat budget smartphone market with the launch of the Realme P3 5G, priced starting at just Rs 16,999. Packed with impressive specs like the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 5G processor, an IP69 rating, and a gargantuan 6,000mAh battery, this phone is aiming to set new standards in its segment.

Surprisingly, Realme dropped the P3 5G earlier than expected; ahead of its originally scheduled March 19 launch. Now, the Realme P3 Ultra will be the only device launching on that date. These new phones will join the Realme P3 Pro and Realme P3X in the company’s P3 series. Want to know what this new budget phone brings to the table? Let’s dive in.

Realme P3 5G: Specifications and features

Despite its budget-friendly pricing, the Realme P3 5G brings some seriously impressive features. It boasts a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, which should ensure vibrant colours and smooth visuals.

Under the hood, it’s powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage for speedy performance.

Gamers will appreciate the 6050mm² aerospace-grade cooling system, which helps keep temperatures in check during intense sessions. The phone also supports 90fps BGMI gameplay, while Realme’s GT Boost mode enhances performance with AI-powered features like AI Motion Control and AI Ultra Touch Control.

For photography, the Realme P3 5G features a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, while a 16MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Powering the device is a massive 6,000mAh battery, complemented by 45W fast charging for quick top-ups.
