Realme GT 7 Pro launched with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset

Realme has launched a new flagship smartphone in India. Dubbed the Realme GT 7 Pro, the flagship smartphone has an updated design when compared to the Realme GT 6 phones.

Some of its highlights include a smooth 120Hz micro-curved display, the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a gigantic battery with 120W fast charging support. Let’s see the phone’s full specifications, features, and price.

Realme GT 7 Pro specifications and features

The Realme GT 7 Pro features an updated design, with a clean back and a boxy camera island. It sports a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO Eco² OLED Plus display with 1.5K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate support.

The panel is a micro-curved screen from Samsung Display that supports 2,000 nits of max brightness and 6,000 nits of peak brightness. These numbers mean that the GT 7 Pro’s screen is sharp, fluid, and bright for better visibility in the bright sunlight.

The smartphone’s optics include a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP Sony IMX906 main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 3x periscope telephoto lens. The telephoto lens has an AI Zoom Ultra Clarity feature for clear images even after zooming.

The smartphone draws power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which, for the unversed is the latest and the most powerful mobile chipset from Qualcomm yet. The Realme GT 7 Pro is also the first smartphone to launch with this chipset in India.

The device has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device also comes with a dedicated cooling solution. There’s a 11480mm² Ice Berg dual VC cooling system that is claimed to offer 30 per cent better heat transfer. So, you can game on the phone without worrying about any excessive heat.

Besides this, the device houses a mammoth 5,800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. It has both IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance support, which means you it can handle water splashes with ease. The device runs on Android 15 OS out of the box with Realme UI 6.0 on top. It is advertised to get three major Android updates and four years of security updates so that you can use the device for a long time.

For connectivity, the smartphone supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. It also has a stereo speaker setup with Hi-Res audio support. For added security, there’s an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The device also has an IR blaster, allowing you to control your home appliance right from the phone.

Realme GT 7 Pro price and availability

The Realme GT 7 Pro costs Rs 59,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at Rs 65,999. The device will be available for purchase from November 29 in the online and offline markets.
