Realme 14X launched in India with 6,000mAh battery, IP69 rating

Realme has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market. The Realme 14X is an affordable 5G handset with a refreshed design over the Realme 13 series. Some of the highlights of the smartphone include a large 120Hz display, triple-rear cameras, and a 6,000mAh battery.

The device also has an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, which is great to see on a budget. Let’s see the smartphone’s full specifications, features, and price.

Realme 14X specifications and features

The all-new Realme 14X features a diamond design on the back. Unlike the Realme 13 series, which has a circular camera island, the Realme 14X has a vertical camera island. The device features a 6.67-inch punch-hole display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels. The IPS LCD panel has a 120Hz refresh rate support for smooth scrolling.

The smartphone boasts a triple-rear camera system, featuring a 50MP OV50D main lens with an f/1.8 aperture. It has an 8MP camera on the front for clicking selfies and doing video calls. The rear and the front cameras are capable of shooting 1080 videos at 30fps.

As for the performance, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which is a 6nm-based octa-core chipset with up to 2.4Ghz frequency. It has Arm G57 MC2 GPU for gaming. It has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s also a support for up to 10GB of Dynamic RAM Expansion.

In terms of the battery, it packs a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. What’s great is that the charging adapter ships with the phone so you don’t have to spend extra on a third-party charger. For connectivity, the device has dual-SIM 5G, dual band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.3 support.

The device runs on Android 14 OS out of the box with Realme UI 5.0 on top. The smartphone has IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rating, ensuring that it can handle high pressure water jets.

Realme 14X price and availability

The Realme 14X is priced at Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 128GB variant costs Rs 15,999. It has three colour options, namely, Jewel Red, Crystal Black, and Golden Glow. The device will be available for purchase from December 22 in the online and offline markets.

In the same price range, you can also consider the CMF Phone 1 and the newly launched Redmi Note 14. Both phones offer a high refresh rate display, several software features, and a long battery life.
