realme 10 launched in India: Here’s what we know

Realme has launched the realme 10, the latest addition to its number-10 series phones. Highlights of their new mid-range device include a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, a screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and more, all at a sub-Rs 20,000 price point.

The realme 10 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen also comes with 360Hz touch sampling, allowing gamers to get blazing fast responses for those split-second inputs.

The device sports an 84.4% screen-to-body ratio, enabling an immersive experience for users irrespective of whether you’re playing games or enjoying your favourite movie. Additionally, the device sports a slim 7.95mm profile and weighs in at a super light 178 grams.

Coming to optics, to help raise your Instagram game, the realme 10 comes with a dual-camera setup, with a 50MP primary lens and a secondary 2MP black-and-white portrait sensor. On the front, it features a 16MP camera. That’s not all. realme has also thrown in some neat software-based camera features like the brand’s signature Street Photography 2.0 mode which comes with perks like a 90’s pop filter and manual control of zooming in and out of pictures.

The realme 10 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. The smartphone is offered in two configurations – one with a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, and the other with an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There’s also a software-based Dynamic RAM feature which help users convert unused storage space into extra RAM, to help things along during those intense Call of Duty sessions.

Other features of the smartphone include a pair of high-res UltraBoom dual speakers for a rich, more immersive audio experience, whether while gaming, or binging on your favourite new OTT releases.

Under the hood, the realme 10 features a large 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W SuperVOOC charging. The superfast charger provides the battery with juice up to 50% in just 28 minutes.

The realme 10 is available in two colours – Clash White in case you like a clean, simple look, and Rush Black for those looking for something more minimal.

The realme 10 phone starts at Rs 13,999 for the base 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage, while the higher-end 8GB RAM variant with 128GB retails for Rs 16,999. The device will be available on realme’s website, and at other major retailers.
