It’s just day two of CES 2025, and it has been a wild ride so far. Whether it is an electric spoon that makes your food tastier or a robot vacuum cleaner with a literal hand, this year’s lineup of products ranges from quirky to sci-fi.
While most of them may not make it out of their concept phase, there’s no denying they give us a glimpse into a not-so-far-ahead future. If you haven’t been able to keep up, here’s a curated list of the quirkiest gadgets we spotted at CES 2025.
Gravity-Defying Wireless TV by Displace
A TV that floats on your wall like magic sounds almost unimaginable, right? But Displace has made it a reality with its Wireless 4K TV that you can stick almost anywhere.
The Dispatch Pro and Basic were two televisions showcased, and these ‘gravity-defying’ appliances stole the spotlight with their unique, cable-free designs. The cord-free wonders come with powerful suction cups that let you stick it on pretty much any surface – walls, windows, you name it.
But if that’s not mind blowing enough, the TV also packs its own power source and comes with a battery. If this isn’t the future of televisions, we don’t know what is!
'Mirumi' the clip-on robot
YuKai Engineering’s ‘Mirumi‘ caught everyone’s with its childlike inquisitiveness and adorable form factor. But this little clip-on robot can do a lot more than stun the bystanders around you.

Mirumi is made to rest on your handbag, and it can even nod, turn and interact with your family, friends and strangers. It comes with built-in sensors that can detect motion and create a series of emotive responses. Whether you find it cute, or creepy, Mirumi is certainly one of the most intriguing gadgets displayed at CES 2025.
LeafyPod, an AI-powered planter
LeafyPod is perhaps a saviour for plant parents who can’t seem to keep their plants alive. Think of an AI-powered planter that can teach you how to take good care of your plants.
With everyday alerts, ideal watering habits, and even soil condition updates, the LeafyPod smartphone app sends you relevant information to keep your plant thriving.
This means if your plant seems to be getting less sunlight, Leafypod can notify you to move the planter to a more appropriate place. Moreover, it also tends to your plants when you’re on vacation, by slowly releasing up to four weeks of water via its built-in reservoir.
Nékojita FuFu, a robot cat that cools your drink
Meet Nékojita FuFu, possibly the cutest solution to scalding hot beverages ever invented. CES acquainted us with a tiny robotic cat that perches on the rim of a cup like a watchful companion. But apart from simply looking cute, it also gently blows air to cool your steaming cup of joe.
“Nékojita” which literally translates to ‘cat tongue’ uses a unique “fu’ing system” (yes, quite cute!) to blow air across your cup at random strengths and intervals. And if that’s not all, it also has a bunch of modes, eight to be precise, that the user can choose from. Some of these include the ‘Basic Main Mode’ which is steady puffs of air, as well as ‘Til You Drop’, which involves long, non-stop puffs.
Roborock Saros Z70, a robot vacuum cleaner with an arm
A robotic vacuum cleaner is great, but what if it had an arm to move away obstacles when required? Sounds bizarre, but the Roborock Saros Z70 is exactly that and comes with a five-axis mechanical arm to pick up and move away roadblocks during its cleaning journey.
It carries on with its day-to-day tasks until it comes across a potential barrier, and uses sensors to identify objects like socks, shoes, towels and tissues. You can also train the vacuum cleaner to bring any of these objects back to a dedicated spot in your house. For instance, you can use the smartphone app to ask the vacuum cleaner to throw the tissues in the trash can.
Apart from this, it can deliver the mop pads back to its station and can even lift itself up across smaller thresholds.
