The newest version of the Google Pixel Studio app brings new sharing options to the recently launched Google Pixel 9. These sharing options make it easier for you to pull up images from any of the top apps into the Pixel Studio app. This means you no longer have to download an image and then insert it into the Pixel Studio app, saving you lots of time, also making things convenient for those who always edit their photos.

Editing images in Pixel Studio turns convenient

Pixel Studio’s version 1.1.001.672728916.05 brings new sharing options to the Pixel 9 phones, where you can easily share images from different apps with Pixel Studio. For the unversed, the Pixel Studio app is Google’s dedicated AI app on the Pixel 9 series to create new images and edit existing ones using AI.

Interestingly, the top apps support this feature, such as WhatsApp and Slack, among others.

How to share images with Pixel Studio

Step 1: If you are a Pixel 9 series owner, all you need to do to find the sharing button is to open any of the top apps (like WhatsApp, Slack), click on an image with the app, and then tap on share.

Step 2: Upon sharing, you should see the Pixel Studio icon on the share page.

Step 3: Tap on the Pixel Studio icon and the image should be directly opened in the app, allowing you to quickly edit it.

With the new options, users can edit their photos more often, fostering creativity. But it is worth noting that Pixel Studio is exclusively available on the Pixel 9 phones. So, if you have any other old device, even the Pixel 8 Pro, you won’t be able to use it and try the new sharing option.
