Oppo Reno11 series is the newest offering in the mid-range smartphone market

The mid-range segment is where most smartphone manufacturers seem to be focusing their energies, such as OnePlus with its Nord 3 devices, Vivo with the V29 series, Realme with the 11 Pro and Pro Plus devices, and so on. Oppo happens to be another such brand and has just unveiled its latest offering in the segment – the Reno11 series.

The new Reno11 series consists of two devices – the base Oppo Reno11 and the higher-end Oppo Reno11 Pro. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

The Oppo Reno11 Pro comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset under the hood, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED curved display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of as much as 1,600 nits. For audio, there is a stereo-speaker setup.

For optics, is a triple-camera setup on the rear – a primary 50MP Sony LYT600 sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP IMX709 2X telephoto lens. On front is a 32MP Sony IMX709 lens, for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options on the device include Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, NFC support, as well as a USB Type-C port. On offer is also an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor.

The Oppo Reno11 Pro is backed by a 4,700mAh battery, with support for 80W wired fast charging.

Talking about the Oppo Reno11, it is powered by a MediaTek 8200 SoC, and is available in three variants. One happens to have 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and the other two have 12 GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.

The device features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED curved display with a resolution of 2,412×1,080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness for the same stands at 950 nits. For audio, there is a stereo-speaker setup similar to the Reno11 Pro.

Speaking of optics, the Oppo Reno11 features a similar triple camera set-up on the rear as its more expensive sibling, with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32MP telphoto lens. On the front is also a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

For connectivity, there is Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, NFC support, as well as a USB Type-C port.

Under the hood, the device comes with a 4,800mAh battery, with support for 67W wired fast charging.

The Oppo Reno11 Pro is available in obsidian black, turquoise green, and moonstone colours, while the Oppo Reno11 can be had in obsidian black, fluorite blue, and moonstone colours. The latest smartphones from Oppo will be on sale only in the Chinese market for now.
