Oppo Reno 10 Pro, Reno 10 Pro+ launches in India with major camera improvements

Oppo’s camera-focused Reno series just launched in India, and we have two new smartphones in the form of the Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+. The two phones come with Qualcomm chipsets at the helm, high refresh rate screens, fast charging, and a photography setup very different from previous Reno smartphones.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Oppo Reno 10 Pro and Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus including the specifications, price and more.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ specifications

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is the top-end variant of the two phones. At the core of the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is also a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.

Coming to the cameras, we have a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera sensor and a new 64MP telephoto sensor. The telephoto camera will allow users a higher degree of optical zoom for far-away subjects. There is also a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The Reno 10 Pro+ also sports a 4,700mAh battery and support for 100W SuperVOOC charging that the brand claims can bring the phone from dead to 100% in 28 minutes.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro specifications

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro is a toned-down version of the Reno 10 Pro+ and features similar specifications, except for a few key differences. One of these is the Snapdragon 778G chipset powering the phone. The Reno 10 Pro still comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, though.

The camera setup is also a little different here, and the Reno 10 Pro features a 32MP telephoto sensor along with the 50MP main camera and 8MP ultrawide camera. Users do get the same 32MP front camera on the Reno 10 Pro, though, handy for video calls and selfies.

On the battery front, we have a smaller 4,600mAh battery, and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging that the company claims can charge the phone up to 100% in 28 minutes.
