Oppo Find X8 series is set to make a camera-centric comeback in India this month

Oppo recently launched the Find X8 series in China and also confirmed its global release timeline to be November. Interestingly, the flagship series is also coming to India this month, which is a surprise for all the Oppo fans out there.

For the unversed, Oppo’s Find X series of phones don’t usually launch in India. In fact, the last Find X device to arrive here was the Oppo Find X2 in 2020. Having said that, this will be an interesting launch for Oppo and all the camera phone enthusiast, as a new Find X flagship is coming to India after four years.

Let’s see the India launch date, specifications, and features of the Oppo Find X8 series.

Oppo Find X8 Pro, Find X8 launch date

The Oppo Find X8 series, which comprises the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, is confirmed to launch on November 21 in India. The smartphone will also launch in some other global markets on the same date. Once the device debuts here, it’s expected to be available online and offline.

Oppo Find X8 Pro, Find X8 specifications and features

Oppo’s Find X8 series was launched in China in October, so the specifications of both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are known. The global models may have similar specifications and features.

The Oppo Find X8 features a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED flat display with 1.5K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz. The Find X8 Pro, on the other hand, has a larger 6.78-inch LTPO OLED micro-quad curved display with a 1.5K resolution and the same refresh rate support. The screens on both phones have Oppo Crystal Shiel protection for durability.

In terms of the optics, the Find X8 gets a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto sensor. The Find X8 Pro gets a quad-rear camera system with 50MP 1/1.4” Sony LYT-808 main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP 6x periscope telephoto lens.

The series is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, which is a 3nm octa-core chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. As for the battery, The Find X8 packs a 5,630mAh battery, whereas, the Find X8 Pro houses a larger 5,910mAh cell. Both have 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

Apart from this, there are a many latest connectivity options, like 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. Both phones have an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. The series runs on the latest Android 15 OS and has ColorOS 15 on top.

Considering such powerful specifications, expect the Find X8 series to arrive in the premium segment. Upon launch, the phones may compete with the OnePlus 13 and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series, among other flagship phones.
