At a time when most mid-range smartphones are racing for specifications, Oppo is now set to launch a phone that’s actually geared towards lasting longer, even in unforgivable conditions. The upcoming Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G comes with military-durability, three IP ratings, and more. Here’s all we know about the phone ahead of launch.
How durable is the Oppo F27 Pro+?
The Oppo F27 Pro+ will come with an IP69 rating. This means, the phone can survive regular and high-pressure water jets, as well as immersion up to 1.5m for 30 minutes.
Besides this, the phone will feature with Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and MIL-STD-810H certification, the latter offering protection against drops and other impacts. The phone even comes with Swiss SGS Premium Performance 5-stars drop resistance.
Other features include better accuracy when using the phone screen with wet hands and a new internal circuit design that keeps liquids out of the way even from the smallest openings and ports in the phone.
Other features
The Oppo F27 Pro+ will sport a curved AMOLED screen and will weigh 177 grams. At 7.89mm it is also a fairly thin phone. There is also a vegan leather design on the back of the phone that not only looks great but should offer more grip, and help the device stand out among other Android phones.
The phone will be available in two colours Midnight Navy and Dusk Pink on launch. Other specifications like what processor powers the phone, or how much RAM and storage its variants will carry, or what the battery capacity is, are currently a mystery. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
