Oppo F27 5G launched with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset

Oppo launched the F27 Pro+ earlier this year, adding one of the best rugged smartphones in the market right now to its portfolio. Now, the brand has launched the new Oppo F27 5G, the base variant in the F27 series.

While the phone doesn’t have the indestructibility of its older brother, it still sports some interesting specifications. Read on to know more.

Oppo F27 5G: What’s new?

The Oppo F27 5G comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display panel, with FHD+ resolution. There is support for 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,100 nits.

Powering the Android phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, along with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The Oppo F27 5G will also expandable storage of up to 2TB.

The Oppo F27 5G comes with a circular camera module on the back, comprising a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is another 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The Oppo F27 5G also comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support and an IP64 water and dust resistance rating. There’s also an in-display fingerprint scanner and support for Wi-Fi 6.

The Oppo F27 5G is priced starting at Rs 22,999, and will go up against other phones in the segment like the OnePlus Nord CE4 and the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G.

The Oppo F27 5G comes in to colours – Emerald Green and Amber Orange. The phone also comes with Android 14-based ColorOS 14.1 out of the box. However, no information on how many years of updates the phones will get has been specified.
