Oppo has rather quietly launched a new phone in India, the Oppo A3x 5G, for those with a taste for adventure. The announcement comes shortly after the company took the wraps off the Oppo A3 Pro 5G in June.

Oppo A3x 5G: What's new?
The Oppo A3x 5G gets a 6.67-inch HD+ display along with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The phone also gets up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness levels for outdoor use, and Oppo has thrown in a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
For performance, Oppo has provided the A3x 5G with a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor which comes coupled with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics. The phone can be purchased in two storage variants; these include the 4GB RAM, 64GB as well as 4GB RAM, 128GB storage options. Both variants can also be further expandable via a microSD card.

The new smartphone also gets military-grade shock resistance for all the times you’re dealing with an accidental drop or spill. Apart from this, Oppo has also ensured multiple liquid resistance certifications, keeping in thrill-seekers or adventurers in mind. When it comes to photography, the company has equipped the A3x 5G with a 32MP primary camera and a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The device comes with a 5,100mAh battery pack with 45W charging support. Other features and connectivity options also include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS, as well as a USB Type-C port for charging or data transfer.
Oppo A3x 5G: Price and availability
The Oppo A3x 5G comes in Starry Purple, Sparkle Black, and Starlight White colour options. The base variant is priced at Rs 12,499 and it goes up to Rs 13,499 for the top storage variant.
The smartphone will be available for purchase across major e-commerce portals, including Croma, along with on the company’s official website. Other options within this price range that you can consider include the Vivo Y28e 5G or the Redmi Note 13 5G.
