The second OnePlus smartwatch is officially on its way. The brand, on its community forum and X (formerly Twitter), teased a silhouette of what looks like a smartwatch with a caption: It’s about time. While the official handle asked users to guess with ‘wrong answers only’, the image suggests the launch of a OnePlus Watch 2. Here’s everything we know about the announcement so far.

OnePlus Watch 2: Expected launch date

Well-known tipster Max Jambor mentioned how the brand is planning to unveil the OnePlus Watch 2 at the upcoming MWC 2024. The tipped date for this launch is said to be February 26. Apart from this, he also goes on to report how the smartwatch will have significant updates over its predecessors.

The community post shared by OnePlus, as of today, incidentally also urges users to send in their wrong answers up to February 26 – which stands to be the expected launch date for the OnePlus Watch 2. Apart from this, the page goes on to state how the contest is open for users from India, North America, and Europe, hinting at the possible market where the smartwatch is supposed to make its mark.

OnePlus Watch 2: What to expect?

While there’s no clarity about its potential features, the OnePlus Watch 2 could sport a round dial with a notable protrusion on the right side. Several leaks also suggest the possibility of two buttons, one of which is visible in the teaser image shared by the brand. The chassis, as of today, appears to be a metal body, and leaks suggest the availability of black and grey colour options.
