OnePlus has officially rolled out a new OxygenOS 15 update in India. This update adds a new AI feature, which was missing in the previous version of the update. It also brings some system improvements and performance updates.

In addition to this, the update also adds the live photo migration capability from iOS devices, like iPads. If you own the OnePlus Pad 2, here’s what’s in store for you.

Everything new coming to your OnePlus Pad 2

OnePlus, on its community page, confirmed that roll out of a new OxygenOS update. The OxygenOS 15.0.401’s changelog confirms the presence of a new AI feature dubbed AI Reply. But what’s AI Reply?

Well, the feature recommends AI-generated replies based on the chat context. These recommended replies have support for different languages, including English. Also, the response style for these replies is more natural.

Other than this AI feature, the update adds the ability to migrate live photos from iOS devices to the OnePlus Pad 2. Users can migrate their live photos using the Clone Tablet app. OnePlus has also shipped the December 2024 Android security patch with this update.

Besides this, there are some system updates and improvements. Starting with the ability to see the status of the torch on Live Alerts to seeing the charging information and Spotify information. This will allow for a more intuitive experience for the OnePlus Pad 2 users.

Further, users can now change the floating window into a full screen window and drag it anywhere on the screen, offering users more flexibility. The update also fixes some display issues with existing icons on the status bar and improves system stability and performance. Users can also expect a better battery life with this update.

Here's how to update

Since it’s an OTA update, your OnePlus Pad 2 should receive an update notification prompting you to install it. However, if you don’t get it, you can manually update your device by heading to Settings > System > System updates.
