New OnePlus Nord: Here’s what to expect from the upcoming phone

OnePlus is officially gearing up to launch its next mid-range Nord devices in India. If the rumours are anything to go by, these new devices are likely to be the OnePlus Nord 3 and the OnePlus Nord CE 3. Not surprisingly, the rumour mills and community forums are rife with supposed details on the upcoming Nord devices.

OnePlus Nord 3 expected features, specifications

The Nord 3 is likely to be a re-branded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V, launched in China and other international markets this year. Under the hood, it is expected to be offered with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, paired with an LPDDR5X RAM of up to 16GB. Furthermore, it is expected to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery, with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is further expected to be offered with a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to a 120Hz, while audio will be taken care of Dolby Atmos-supported dual speakers. For optics, the Nord 3 device is expected to sport a triple-rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary shooter, a secondary 8MP ultrawide lens, and a tertiary 2MP macro lens. On the front, the device is expected to be offered with a 16MP shooter.

If the previous trends are anything to go by, the Nord 3 could be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 32,000.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 expected features, specifications

A tipster also recently tweeted out the supposed spec-sheet of the Nord CE 3 device, which will sit in between the upcoming Nord 3 and the Nord CE 3 Lite currently on sale.

The Nord CE 3 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G chipset with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, expandable up to 16GB via virtual RAM. Furthermore, it is also expected to sport a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Other features expected include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, triple rear camera setup (50MP + 8MP + 2MP), and an IR blaster.
