OnePlus today launched its next flagship device – the OnePlus 13. Succeeding the OnePlus 12, the new OnePlus 13 comes with some design changes on the outside, and big hardware changes on the inside, including Qualcomm’s most powerful AI chipset yet.
Here’s all you need to know about the new phone, including price, features, specifications and all the nitty gritty about 2025’s first flagship phone launch in India.
OnePlus 13 specifications and features
The OnePlus 13 comes with a new design, where the circular camera island is no longer in contact with the side edge of the device. This makes the glass back of the phone look cleaner than previous generations. The OnePlus 13 also supports multiple magnetic phone cases, which give it magnetic tethering abilities, similar to the MagSafe tech on iPhones.
On the front is a 6.82-inch AMOLED display panel with 120Hz refresh rate support, 4500nits peak brightness and QHD+ resolution. This is also an LTPO panel, which means users will get variable refresh rates based on what they’re doing.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 3nm architecture chipset that the brand claims will bring significant efficiency, and hence, much better battery life. This is clubbed with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
For the cameras, the OnePlus 13 comes with a 50MP triple camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation), a 50MP periscope telescope camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field-of-view. There are some software features like a Snapshot mode, which captures dual exposure shots of the same click and combines them for a single shot with a lot of dynamic range.
Speaking of software features, thanks to its continuing partnership with Hasselblad, the OnePlus 13 will also feature Hasselblad-powered colour calibration features. The camera can also record video at up to 8K resolutions at 30fps. There is also a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
There are also some AI features, like Intelligent Search, which uses an AI Chatbot like interface to help you get to your search results quicker, without going through the clutter, right from your app drawer’s search bar. Other abilities include some Google AI features like Circle to Search, and Gemini as the default mobile assistant.

The OnePlus 13 is also powered by Android 15-powered Oxygen OS 15. It also gets both IP68 and IP69 certification for protection against water and dust.
Powering all of this is a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Other features include stereo speakers, and an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is more secure than regular optical sensors.
OnePlus 13 price and availability
The OnePlus 13 starts at Rs 69,999 and will go on sale from January 10 in India. It will also be available in Black Eclipse, Arctic Dawn and a new Midnight Ocean colourway that features microfibre vegan leather for a unique finish in the back panel.
The OnePlus 13 is still a while away, those who want to save on some money can in the meanwhile, also consider the OnePlus 12, which is still a very capable flagship phone in 2025.
