Days after the launch of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, OnePlus has now made its next flagship, the OnePlus 13 official. The new phone comes with the latest chip, but also packs some cool new improvements. While the phone is not official in India just yet, we can look at the China variant for cues on what to expect.
Here’s everything you need to know about the OnePlus 13, including price, specifications and new features.
OnePlus 13: What’s new?
The OnePlus 13 comes with a flat screen unlike its predecessors, and a 2.5D quad-curved panel. This 6.82-inch screen also comes with 1440p resolution and thanks to being an LTPO panel, can also offer variable refresh rate between 1-120Hz. With a typical brightness of 800nits, the panel can go up to 4,500 nits peak brightness.
The OnePlus 13 also sports an IP69 rating, which we covered in detail last week. This lets the phone be safe when subject to pressurised water, although we don’t know how many people will need that kind of protection.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is coupled with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. While it isn’t clear if the 24GB variant will be available in other regions, the phone does also come in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants.
There is a slightly redesigned camera island at the back of the phone. While there is still a rounded look to it, the tangents that connected the island to the side of the frame are now missing. The OnePlus 13 also comes with Android 15-powered ColorOS 15, but global variants will feature OxygenOS 15 instead.
There are three cameras – a main Sony LYT-808 sensor with optical image stabilsation, a periscope camera sensor with 3x optical zoom, and an ultrawide camera – all of which come with 50MP resolution. There is also a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls, and the phone is able to record up to 8K/30 fps on the back and 4K/60 fps on the front.
The OnePlus 13 also comes with a 6,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W proprietary wireless charging. There’s also support for 10W reverse wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging for your accessories.
OnePlus 13: Pricing and availability
While the OnePlus 13 is not yet available in India right now, you can very well expect the phone to launch here over the next few months, succeeding the OnePlus 12. However, there’s no word on an India-specific R-series phone like the OnePlus 12R for now.
For now, the OnePlus 13 comes in three colours in China – White, Obsidian and Blue, with pricing starting from CNY 4,499 (about Rs 53,200), which brings it very close to the pricing of the Xiaomi 15.
