OnePlus 11 users get OxygenOS 14 update with notable performance-enhancing features

OnePlus 11 users waiting with bated breath can finally begin making the most of the OxygenOS 14 stable update. The Android 14-based update will be pushed directly to users who opted for the Close and Open Beta versions; however, it will gradually be available for other users as well.

Those looking forward to the update will now be able to enjoy multiple improved features along with an aquamorphic-themed design. Here’s everything you need to know about the announcement.

What's new with the OnePlus 11 OxygenOS 14 update?

For starters, the new aquamorphic-design brings major upgrades to animation, music and colours for OnePlus 11 users. The OxygenOS 14 will now also support behaviour recognition for different types of functions. Users can now also make the most of aquamorphic-based ringtones along with its revamped system notification sounds.

The update brings forth a much-anticipated File Dock update for users to drag and drop files between devices easily. It will allow users to access the File Dock from a sidebar at all times and also make it seamless to multitask between a host of apps and files.

Additionally, the OxygenOS 14 will bring in Content Extraction and Smart Cutout to the OnePlus 11 5G. While the Content Extraction feature effortlessly extracts images or text from your screen, the Smart Cutout helps you separate multiple subjects in a photo by individually selecting and sharing them for you.

Lastly, you also get a revamped Notes app with Notes 2.0, meaning you can now experiment with colours, fonts and backgrounds while jotting down your thoughts. The company has also included a built-in find and search technology to simplify user experience on Notes 2.0.

If you’re a OnePlus 11 user, you can update and install the OxygenOS 14 stable version with a battery of above 30 per cent. OnePlus recommends having at least 5GB storage on your device as well. To update your smartphone, tap on Settings > System and System Updates. Ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network before you click on install.
