OnePlus, after months of rumors, has finally confirmed that it will be launching its highly anticipated OnePlus 11 series on February 7 in India. As the name suggests, this series will replace last year’s OnePlus 10 series. The launch will be held at an event, dubbed Cloud 11, in New Delhi. Along with the smartphone, OnePlus has also confirmed that it will be launching the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
OnePlus 11 rumoured design
The OnePlus 11 5G is expected to flaunt a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, sporting a hole-punch for the front camera, with the cutout on the top left corner.
At the rear, the device is expected to have a circular design for the rear camera module. It will be identical to the one used on the OnePlus 7T. However, instead of the middle, the OnePlus 11 5G will reportedly have it on the left side. Additionally, the teaser released by the company has also revealed the two potential colour options for the OnePlus 11 5G – Black and Green.
OnePlus 11 expected features and specifications
The latest flagship device in the OnePlus lineup is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB USB 4.0 storage. Under the hood, it is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
As per the teaser released by the company, its iconic alert slider which was missing from the OnePlus 10T 5G, is also making a comeback. Additionally, the OnePlus 11 5G is expected to be offered with a triple camera setup at the rear with a Hasselblad sensor for enhanced colour grading technology. The primary lens is expected to be a 50MP shooter, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP 2x telephoto camera. The front camera, on the other hand, is expected to be a 16MP shooter.
While it is rumoured that the OnePlus 11 5G could debut with Android 13 based on Oxygen OS 13 straight out of the box, several reports are also saying that the smartphone may be launched with the Android 12 OS as standard.
The smartphone is also expected to be offered with several other features including an in-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E support.
