OnePlus 10 Pro gets OxygenOS 14 update with Smart Cutout, Notes 2.0 and more

Less than a month after rolling out the Android-based OxygenOS 14 update for its OnePlus 11 users, the company has now rolled the stable version out for users with the OnePlus 10 Pro. The device, launched in January last year, came with Android 12 before being bumped up to Android 13 in September 2023.

However, it is now eligible for an OxygenOS 14 update and will be able to make the most of its aquamorphic design and power-packed features. If you’ve been looking forward to this announcement, here’s all that you need to know about it.

What's new with the Oxygen 14 update?

The Oxygen 14 stable version will allow users to enjoy an aquamorphic-themed design. This includes major upgrades in animation, colours and music. It further brings in the File Dock update to make dragging and dropping files easier for users.

Apart from this, users can also make the most of Content Extraction and Smart Cutout, which allows you to extract images or text from your screen effortlessly and separate multiple subjects in a photo. Lastly, it also revamps the Notes app to Notes 2.0, which lets users experiment with fonts, backgrounds and colours while updating an entry.

The update comes with a firmware version of NE2211_14.0.0.202(EX01) and requires about 790MB of download space on the OnePlus 10 Pro. However, it is essential to note that the update is currently only being made available to users enrolled in the Open Beta program and will be expanded to other users soon.

It is also important to note that the file size may change for users not involved in the Beta program. To update your OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone, go and tap Settings > System and System Updates. Ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network before you click on install.
