A few days ago, Nothing confirmed a new launch event for March 4 this year, a little over a month from now. However, what products were to be expected at this launch event, was not made clear. This led to speculations around multiple new smartphones and more being launched on the date, which also coincides with the MWC 2025 expo dates this year.
However, in a new video update on its YouTube channel, Nothing has now set things straight about what you should expect on March 4, and what you shouldn’t. Here’s all you need to know.
Nothing Phone (3) confirmed to launch on March 4
Nothing has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3a) is launching on March 4. The new mid-range phone will succeed 2024’s Nothing Phone (2a), and is likely to come with newer hardware, a tweaked design and Nothing OS 3.0 out of the box. Any details around the phones were not revealed, in typical cryptic Nothing fashion.

The information was confirmed in the latest Nothing quarterly update video on the brand’s channel. In the clip, various Nothing staff members can also be seen dropping hints to other upcoming launches, including more audio products, and another community-edition product following the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition. You can check out the video below.
In the video, Nothing also confirms that while the Nothing Phone (3) is coming later this year, as CEO Carl Pei promised last year, it will not launch alongside the Nothing Phone (3a) on March 4.

Rather, the Nothing Phone (3) will get its own launch event later this year. This could be around the July mark, which is when Nothing launched its last flagship phone, the Nothing Phone (2) almost two years ago.
More details on both the Nothing Phone (3a) and the Nothing Phone (3) are expected in the following weeks. Stay tuned to Unboxed by Croma for all the other updates in the world of tech until then.
