Relatively a newer brand in the smartphone business, Nothing started off with a rather simple one-phone-a-year portfolio. The brand however has since ventured into more accessories and a sister-brand for affordable products. Now, the company has announced that it will soon be launching yet another phone called the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus.
Coming just four months after the launch of the Nothing Phone (2a), it remains to be seen what new features and changes we will see with the Phone (2a) Plus. While the name suggests it will be a bigger version of the device, we might just see some changes in the specifications as well.

The device will launch on July 31, which leaves the brand a little under two weeks to give us some teasers around what to expect from the new smartphone.
A Nothing Phone (3)-sized void
While Nothing continues launching various editions of the Nothing Phone (2a), including a colourful Special Edition variant, and the affordable yet modular CMF Phone 1, the brand’s flagship spot remains vacant with the Nothing Phone (2) having been launched well over a year ago.
In a recent video, Nothing announced that the Nothing Phone (3) will come with a heap of AI features and more, but also added that the phone would launch in 2025. Unfortunately, we don’t know what half of 2025 the brand was referring to, and it seems there will be no flagship Nothing Phone for a while.
That said, the more affordable Nothing smartphones are still some of the best value-for-money devices that you can get right now with clean software, and it remains to be seen what the upcoming Phone (2a) Plus brings to the table. Stay tuned to Unboxed by Croma for all the updates on the phone.
